摘要: Membrane receptors coupled to heterotrimeric G-proteins play an essential role in the transmission of signals from extracellular environment cytoplasm cell. A wide variety external stimuli, including neurotransmitters, hormones, phospholipids, photons, odorants, taste ligands, and growth factors, can activate specific members G-protein (GPCRs). Besides functions fully differentiated cells tissues, GPCRs are also involved embryogenesis, tissue regeneration, cell stimulation, proliferation. In this study, we identified a novel prostate-specific receptor that interacts with Galpha(12) our yeast two-hybrid assays. The expression protein is highly restricted human prostate tissues using multiple-tissue Northern blot analysis, array. Furthermore, increased significantly tumors comparison matched normal PCR Southern suggesting potential tissue-specific cancer development.
