摘要: Our aim is to study the inflammatory response towards collagen-coated and non-coated polypropylene meshes in rats urodynamic investigation post-operatively. Forty-two female Sprague Dawley were divided into 7 groups of 6 rats; Control, Day 30 for Sham, Avaulta Plus (MPC), Perigee (MP). UDS taken at days 30. Mesh with vagina bladder wall was removed sent immunohistochemical examination. Results showed intense reaction on day which decreased IL-1, TNF-α, MMP-2 CD31 observed decrease from NGF almost normal all groups. no difference voiding pressure. Both Study Sham had shorter interval (VI) but significantly lower MPC. VI increased Voided volume mesh even when an increase seen In conclusion, higher levels TNF-α imply greater inflammation than mesh. implantation can lead smaller capacity.
