摘要: The aim of this study was to analyze the influence number visits and blood pressure (BP) measurements on prevalence high (HBP) in adolescents. A cross-sectional epidemiologic with 481 adolescents (14-19 years old) selected using a random cluster sampling strategy. We measured BP three times first visit. Adolescents HBP performed subsequent visits. final calculation followed four strategies: 1st measure, mean 2nd measurements, all averaging 3rd measurements. second 6.4% 1.9%, hypertension (after visits) 1.7%. varied from 8.6%-18.6% for boys 4.6%-9.2% girls, average measurement, respectively. In strategies, were more prevalent students attending nocturnal shift. affect Thus, clinicians researchers should consider these aspects when assessing aged 14-19 years old.
