摘要: Cytogenetic and molecular studies of medulloblastomas have demonstrated frequent loss sequences from the short arm chromosome 17, possibly implicating or inactivation p53 tumor suppressor gene. We amplified exons 5 through 8 gene by polymerase chain reaction technique. These segments, which encompass regions usually mutated in human tumors, were sequenced to search for mutations 12 medulloblastoma xenografts, 3 permanent cell lines. Mutation was found only 1 lines tested none xenografts primary tumors studied. Our results suggest that is an unusual way a second on 17 involved pathogenesis medulloblastoma.
