摘要: Abstract Objective. The goal of this study was to determine/evaluate the negative predictive value human papillomavirus (HPV) testing following conization cervix uteri. Methods. A prospective analysis undertaken on 79 cone biopsies women with high-grade lesions (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) III). HPV performed cervical smears before and after conization. We correlated margin status (defined as positive or endocervical curettage status) residual disease in a hysterectomy specimen. Digene II kit used perform testing. detection done by Hybrid Capture assay. Results. Of patients, 47(59.5%) had margins 37 cases (78.7%) 10 (21.3%). Residual found 31 47 (66%) postconization specimens. No were HPV-negative cases. 32 conization, 25 (78%) 7 (22%). Among these tests, no lesion detected, HPV-positive cases, only one found. Conclusion. is potentially an effective tool predicting dysplasia could assist decision between conservative follow-up CIN III.
