摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter introduces colorectal cancer that constitutes a major public health problem. Of all types, the molecular changes leading to malignant growth are perhaps best known in carcinoma. Considerable progress has been made defining critical mutations and gene expression pathogenesis. Several of genetic alterations identified thus far frequently seen most common type tumors. The majority tumors (85%) sporadic origin, yet they exhibit close similarities resulting from inherited syndromes. A feature is instability, with frequency allele loss up 20% evaluable chromosome arms.
