摘要: Spitzoid melanomas (SM) and atypical Spitz tumors (AST) are rare pediatric neoplasms. We performed a retrospective, single-institution review report our institutional experience. identified 10 patients (median age: 12.5 years). A sentinel node biopsy (SNB) was in 8/10 (80%) patients, interestingly 7/8 (87.5%) were found to be positive for malignant cells. complete regional lymphadenectomy all SNB-positive but only 2/8 (25%) have additional lymph spread. Adjuvant therapy administered 5/8 SLNB-positive 2/2 (100%) LN-positive cases. All had excellent long-term outcomes (100% survival). This highlights the associated with SNB + SM AST.
