摘要: Objective: To examine the 10-year incidence and progression of diabetic retinopathy. Design: Population-based study. Participants: Seven hundred sixty-five insulin-taking persons diagnosed before age 30 years, 251 at years or older, 282 non-insulin-taking older who participated in baseline, 4-year, follow-up examinations. Main Outcome Measures: The any retinopathy, to proliferative retinopathy were detected by masked grading stereoscopic color fundus photographs using modified Airlie House classification Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study severity scheme. Results: (89%, 79%, 67%), (76%, 69%, 53%), (30%, 24%, 10%) highest group intermediate lowest group, respectively. Increased risk was associated with more severe baseline. Conclusions: These data suggest relatively high rates despite changes treatment diabetes, there has been little change during study period.
