摘要: We describe here a test for lupus anticoagulants based on modified Russell viper venom time (RVVT), using limiting amounts of phospholipid and venom. have studied 29 patients with prolonged dilute RVVT. Five the had normal activated partial thromboplastin three 14 tested by tissue inhibition were normal. In 17 19 tested, RVVT was completely when ionophore-treated platelets substituted phospholipid; remaining two patients, both very long phospholipid-dependent RVVT's, nearly normalized. The is not in presence antibodies to factors VIII, IX, or XI. Thus, appears be simple, reproducible, sensitive, relatively specific method detection anticoagulants.
