摘要: The known metabolic cardiovascular disease risk factors associated with insulin resistance syndrome (IRS) do not adequately explain the excess attributed to this syndrome, and abnormalities in hemostatic variables may contribute risk. Using data from 322 nondiabetic elderly men women (aged 65-100 years) participating Cardiovascular Health Study during 1989-1990, authors performed factor analysis on 10 IRS 11 procoagulation, inflammation, fibrinolysis examine clustering of markers. Factor confirmed four uncorrelated factors: body mass, insulin/glucose, lipids, blood pressure. Adding yielded three new interpreted as vitamin K-dependent proteins, procoagulant activity. Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 clustered mass factor, supporting hypothesis that obesity is related impaired fibrinolysis. Fibrinogen inflammation summary rather than activity, position fibrinogen principally reflects underlying potential. conclude should be shown IRS-related disease, apart plasminogen inhibitor-1, they so independently established abnormalities.
