Occurrence and characterization of Aeromonas species in pasteurized milk and white cheese in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

摘要: A total of 35 samples (1000 ml each) pasteurized milk and 25 (100 g white cheese purchased at supermarkets in Rio de Janeiro were analyzed for the presence Aeromonas . Strains isolated from 28.5% 32% samples. Standard Plate counts ranged 7.2 × 10* to 2.5 105 CFU/ml. Total fecal coliform 1.9 2.4 most probable number per 3.2 102 1.2 g, respectively.
