摘要: Purpose: [ 18 F]Galacto-RGD has been developed for positron emission tomography (PET)–imaging of αvβ3 expression, a receptor involved in angiogenesis and metastasis. Our aim was to study the feasibility PET imaging with patients squamous cell carcinoma head neck (SCCHN). Experimental Design: Eleven primary diagnosis SCCHN were examined. After injection 140 200 MBq F]Galacto-RGD, static scans 60 min post from abdomen ( n = 11) dynamic >60 covering tumor region 6) kinetic modeling acquired. Standardized uptake values (SUV) measured tumors, muscle oral mucosa. Immunohistochemistry done using an αvβ3-specific antibody 7). Image fusion magnetic resonance and/or computed (CT) 8) calculation subvolumes based on SUVs iPlan software (BrainLAB). Results: identified 10 12 ranging 2.2 5.8 (mean, 3.4 ± 1.2). Two tumors imaging/multislice CT definition feasible all cases. Conclusions: allows specific expression good contrast. is feasible. This technique might be used assessment planning response evaluation αvβ3-targeted therapies.
