摘要: Gelatinase activity has been associated with colorectal cancer (CRC) invasion and metastasis. However, it remains unresolved whether these proteases participate in early carcinogenesis. The of metalloproteinases (MMP) 2 9 were measured by zymography 122 adenomas, 22 CRC samples, 12 hyperplasic polyps 114 matched normal mucosal samples from patients undergoing colonoscopy. There was a progressive significant increase pro-MMP-9 adenoma to tissue, whereas the latent active forms MMP-2 exclusively up-regulated samples. Among neoplastic polyps, significantly higher advanced versus non-advanced adenomas those harbouring high grade dysplasia.
