摘要: Objective Malignant transformation of oral premalignant lesions is the key process in progression to squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Previously, we identified miR-7 and miR-21 as candidate oncogenes miR-375 miR-494 tumor suppressors OSCC. We aim evaluate these microRNAs biomarkers malignant lesions. Study Design Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded samples from progressive paired sequential OSCC tumors at same site were obtained patients (n = 31). Total RNA was extracted analyzed for microRNA levels using real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results MiR-375 expression clearly lower than nonprogressive control (average eightfold difference, P = .0004). Furthermore, decreased significantly after lesion (P  Conclusions downregulation associated with a higher risk transformation.
