摘要: Although adenocarcinomas of the lung are associated with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutations and sensitivity to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors, it remains unclear whether bronchioloalveolar carcinoma (BAC) components and/or subtypes affect these associations. We aimed clarify correlations between BAC establish histologic features as reliable predictors for mutations. examined 141 non-small cell cancers (NSCLCs), including 118 adenocarcinomas, in exons 19 21 together codon 12 K-ras using loop-hybrid mobility shift assays, a highly sensitive polymerase chain reaction-based method. Adenocarcinomas were subdivided into nonmucinous or mucinous component those without components. In NSCLCs, detected 75 cases (53.2%) significantly adenocarcinoma, female sex, never smoking. Among mutations, respectively. Because even most pure BACs, ie, adenocarcinoma situ, mutation is considered critical event pathogenesis tumors.
