摘要: Purpose: To describe nongenetics clinicians' perceptions and knowledge of cancer genetics laws prohibiting genetic discrimination, attitudes toward the use testing, referral practices. Methods: Invitations to participate were sent a random stratified sample California Medical Association members all Nurse Practitioners Latino Association. Responders in active practice eligible completed 47-item survey. Results: There 1181 qualified participants (62% physicians). Although 96% viewed testing as beneficial for their patients, 75% believed fear discrimination would cause patients decline testing.
