Evolutionary relationships between fungi, red algae, and other simple eucaryotes inferred from total DNA hybridizations to a cloned basidiomycete ribosomal DNA

摘要: Abstract DNA homologies between a cloned ribosomal from Tyromyces unicolor , basidiomycete, and whole of representative fungi, algae, other simple eucaryotes were determined by molecular hybridization experiments. The thermal stabilities these hybrids indicate that basidiomycetes are more closely related to including chytridiomycetes, than red algae or protozoa, no higher fungi green dictyostelids, lower eucaryotes.
