摘要: We have found that nanobacteria, recently discovered Gram-negative atypical bacteria, can cause local calciphylaxis on the mitral valve in a setting of high-calcium X phosphorous product blood. present case 33-year-old man with diabetic renal failure continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis who died as result multiple brain infarcts due to embolizations from vegetations. Systemic was not present. Spectrometric analysis vegetations showed they were composed calcium phosphate, carbonate apatite form, and fibrin. The electron microscopy thrombotic vegetation demonstrated nanobacterium nidus for formation. Investigation presence nanobacteria organs involved systemic may be help elucidating pathogenesis this frequently fatal disorder.
