摘要: Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) spp. ticks economically impact on cattle production in Africa and other tropical subtropical regions of the world. Tick vaccines constitute a cost-effective environmentally friendly alternative to tick control. The R. microplus Bm86 protective antigen has been produced by recombinant DNA technology shown protect against infestations. In this study, genes for (R. microplus), Ba86 annulatus) Bd86 decoloratus) were cloned characterized from African or Asian strains proteins secreted purified P. pastoris. secretion ortholog pastoris allowed simple purification process rendering final product with high recovery (35–42%) purity (80–85%) likely result more reproducible conformation closely resembling native protein. Rabbit immunization experiments showed immune cross-reactivity between proteins. These support development testing containing Bm86, control infestations Africa.
