摘要: The effects of arecoline, Tremorine and chlorpromazine were studied in conditioned rats shuttlebox avoidance lever-press procedures. Conditioned response (CAR) blockade produced by subtremor doses arecoline was felt to result from central cholinergic stimulation since the both drugs prevented tertiary anticholinergic, atropine, but not quaternary agent, methantheline. In procedures observed CAR these cholinergics suggested reduction fear or anxiety drive, popularly ascribed chlorpromazine, rather heightened indecision about appropriate performance for avoiding impending danger shock. behavioral pattern trained animals under influence was, fact, remarkably similar behavior unconditioned during earlier stages training. possible implications findings are discussed.
