摘要: Stone martens (Martes foina) occur in urban environments many parts of continental Europe, where they cause a nuisance by denning inhabited houses. We radio tracked 13 stone (10 females, 3 males) two towns southern Luxembourg during 2-year period, order to investigate den preferences and patterns use. predicted that would make more use buildings less natural sites than do their rural counterparts. All used multiple but was concentrated on subset these, between which individuals shifted frequently. Denning almost exclusively (97.1%), with being the highest (41.9%) recorded date for this species. Inhabited were extensively winter, presumably because warmer better insulated. conclude can successfully adapt behaviour an environment anthropogenic often most other mesocarnivore adapters.
