摘要: Gapless monitoring of polymerization reactions is paramount interest for academia and the polymer industry, allowing efficient reaction screening precise tailoring polymeric products. Herein, UV-visible spectroscopy (UV-vis) employed as an operando measurement technique in continuous flow with ex situ calibration, to calculate monomer conversions unprecedented resolution only 10 s. A mathematical model based on volume contraction provided first time, which yields from absorption visible region theoretically any homopolymerization. This validated different monomers, solvents, concentrations a photoiniferter reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization, proving versatility presented setup. Notably, ultralow merely few hundred nanoliters enough ensure high accuracy.
