摘要: Abstract Background. Patients with extensive, long-standing ulcerative colitis have increased risk of colorectal cancer. Aims. To improve the detection high-risk patients, using a combination colonic cytology, histology, and DNA image cytometry after segmental lavage. Patients. A series 16 patients (8 patients) were investigated. Methods. After lavage step, biopsies obtained. Gradient centrifugation fluid was performed for isolation purification epithelial cells. The smears biopsy specimens obtained stained routine interpretation cytometry. Results. Segmental could be in all patients. Specimens from two showed low grade dysplasia atypia by means histology respectively. In one patient, without cancer risk, detected. Three group, those diagnosed as positive atypia, aneuploidy histologically cytologically. aneuploidy, cytological material, found exclusively three low-risk had Conclusions. Isolation cells density gradient can part endoscopy. It provides information about atypical additional markers malignant transformation. cytologic examination might
