摘要: In this paper we present a video communication system that integrates end-to-end buffer management and congestion control at the source with playout adjustment mechanism receiver. While each component of has been considered independently in literature, our focus work is their integration. The proposed exploits fact when implemented source, most loss occurs not within network. Based on observation, design to trade off random for controlled visually less important data. Frame rate adjusted receiver maximize visual quality displayed based overall loss. We tested both H.26L subband/wavelet coder, found it significantly improves received cases.
