摘要: Objective: Premature thelarche (PT) is defined as isolated breast development without secondary sex characteristics in girls below the age of eight. We aimed to determine whether level kisspeptin, which plays a role release gonadotropins, associated with PT. Methods: The patient group included children PT aged 3-8 years (n=20) and control healthy same range (n=20). Height standard deviation scores (HSDSs), bone maturation growth velocity were evaluated two groups. Basal follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing (LH), estradiol (E2), prolactin (PRL), hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) levels also measured groups by immunochemiluminometric assay (ICMA). A gonadotropin-releasing (GnRH) test was conducted peak FSH LH determined. Kisspeptin using enzyme immunoassay (EIA). Results: No differences found between terms age, HSDS, annual rate age. While plasma basal FSH, E2 did not show statistically significant differences, PRL higher (p<0.05). Peak response GnRH at prepubertal (<5 ng/mL) patients PT. In group, kisspeptin significantly compared (2.96±1.21 ng/dL vs. 1.19±0.41 ng/dL; p<0.05), showed correlation PRL, LH, (p<0.05). Conclusions: this study, be positive increased levels. one neuropeptides that onset puberty. Our results support hypothesis may result from temporary activation central stimulants. Conflict interest:None declared.
