摘要: Neural precursor cells have been of interest historically as the building blocks embryonic CNS and, most recently, substrates for restorative neurological approaches. The majority previous in vitro studies regulation neural-cell proliferation by polypeptide growth factors, and vivo neural lineage, argue presence precursors with limited proliferative or lineage potential mammalian CNS. This is contrast to renewable tissues, such blood immune system, skin epithelium small intestinal crypts, which contain specialized, self-renewing known stem cells. However, recent from our other laboratories lead us conclude that cells, self-renewal multilineage potential, are present through adult forebrain.
