摘要: Treating chronic pain is a complex challenge. While textbooks and medical education classically categorize as originating from peripheral (nociceptive), neuropathic, or centralized origins, in real life each every patient may present combination of various sources, types, mechanisms. Moreover, individual patients evolve develop differing types throughout their clinical follow-up, further emphasizing the necessity to maintain diligence during evaluation follow-up these patients. Rational treatment suffering must attempt at deconstructing cases, identifying variegate generators, targeting them with appropriate interventions, while incorporating both pharmacological non-pharmacological strategies, rather than focusing on total level, which represents an integral all types. Failing recognize coexistence different escalating medications only basis intensity are liable lead ineffective control increased untoward effects. In current review, we outline strategies for therapeutic suggestions.
