Quadrupole moments and nucleon excitation strengths in even-A Sm isotopes

摘要: Abstract We present a coherent coupled-channel analysis of 7 MeV neutron and 16 proton elastic inelastic scattering from 148, 152, 154 Sm. The optical potential nuclear deformation parameters are determined so as to fit not only these data but also the low-energy properties total cross sections over wide energy range. This provides evidence same excitation strengths for both projectiles in case Sm, smaller strength than 148 Moreover quadrupole moments deformed potentials good agreement with those extracted Coulomb measurements matter distribution calculations.
