摘要: Background The aim of this retrospective study was to clarify the difference in behavior and outcome after initial hepatectomy between gastric cancer liver metastases (GCLM) colorectal (CCLM). Methods Data for patients undergoing curative liver-only from (n = 193) (n = 26) performed at single institution with same criteria regarding status were reviewed. Post-hepatectomy recurrence pattern, re-resection recurrence, three different endpoints evaluated. Results There no significant GCLM CCLM incidence (69% vs. 63%, P = 0.553) recurrence-free survival (median, 15.2 months 16.5 months, P = 0.230) following metastases. However, had a higher frequency systemic unresectable recurrences than CCLM. Time surgical failure 39.7 months, P = 0.006) overall 20.1 months 66.2 months, P < 0.001) significantly shorter CCLM. Conclusions GCLM shows more aggressive oncological even when are confined only time hepatectomy.
