摘要: From 2008 to 2009, we evaluated the environmental impact of a cement plant (Montcada i Reixac, Catalonia, Spain) that is located close densely populated areas. The potential health risks for population living in neighborhood were also assessed. levels various heavy metals and concentrations polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) determined soil, vegetation, air samples collected at different directions distances from facility. Three 6-monthly consecutive campaigns performed establish temporal seasonal trends. Multivariate statistical techniques, such as principal component analysis, used. Human exposure PCDD/Fs, well associated carcinogenic noncarcinogenic risks, calculated. Environmental pollutant concentrations, especially those found urban sites, noted be slightly higher than recently reported around other plants Catalonia. A pattern was observed, with values recorded during colder sampling periods. Despite this, derived human PCDD/Fs within ranges considered acceptable by international regulatory organisms.
