Interfacial microstructure and improved wetting mechanism of SiO 2f /SiO 2 brazed with Nb by plasma treatment

摘要: Abstract Due to the poor wettability with AgCuTi and high residual stress, it is difficult achieve high-strength brazed joint of SiO 2f /SiO 2 (quartz fiber reinforced silica) metals. Herein, plasma treatment as an effective approach was conducted modify surface state for better joints. Based on SEM, Raman, XPS wetting experiment analysis, mechanism improved proposed. Plasma can coat thin carbon film form C-Si bonding , which both show good AgCuTi. Therefore, contact angle notably reduced from 131° 45° only 5min . Afterwards, effect treating time interfacial microstructure mechanical property -Nb joints were investigated in detail. It found that adjusting control distance brazing alloy infiltration. Further, shear strength fracture morphologies closely related The infiltration at side significantly increase areas reduce thus enhance properties
