摘要: Success in treating severe sepsis will require relevant tools to monitor the patient immunoinflammatory status. This study aimed investigate feasibility of measuring a panel immunological mediator mRNAs whole blood and their prognostic values septic shock patients. At onset shock, compared healthy volunteers, mRNA levels patients were increased for IL-10, IL-1beta, high mobility group B1 (HMGB1) decreased transforming growth factor beta 1, Th1, Th2 transcription factors, T-bet GATA-3, respectively. Single parameter analysis highlighted an expression IL-10 HMGB1 nonsurvivors significant rise over time GATA3 survivors. Combining four genes, hierarchical cluster showed that up 95% with similar outcome displayed transcriptional similarities. These results illustrate both potential quantification assays interest multiparametric strategy better stratify
