摘要: Abstract Hypocrellin A (HA), a perylenoquinone derivative, is an efficient phototherapeutic agent. The chelation of HA with aluminium ion (Al3+) results in the formation 1:1 complex (Al3+-HA). probable structure for this has been proposed. Compared HA, much higher solubility water. In addition, Al3+-HA preserves 1O2-generating function as demonstrated by diphenylanthracene photobleaching experiments. irradiated oxygen-saturated solutions superoxide radical anion and hydroxyl are formed verified using 5,5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline-N-oxide (DMPO) electron spin resonance (ESR) trapping production enhanced significantly presence donors such 1-benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide (BNAH). These suggest that photodynamic action proceeds via both type 1 2 reactions.
