摘要: A comprehensive in vitro approach was used to assess the effects of superabsorbent polymer (SAP) containing wound dressings treatment non-healing wounds. slight negative effect on HaCaT cells noted which is most likely due Ca2+ deprivation medium by binding SAP. It could be shown that SAP are able bind considerable amounts elastase reducing enzyme activity significantly. Furthermore, SAP’s inhibit formation free radicals. The SAP-containing tested also exhibited a significant strong antimicrobial effectively impeding growth gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria as well yeasts. In conclusion, data confirm positive observed vivo suggest they should specifically useful for cleansing.
