摘要: Midkine is a multifunctional factor and has anti-apoptotic, migration-promoting, angiogenic, anti-microbial other activities. ameliorates ischemic injury in the heart brain, enhances oocyte maturation, involved neurogenesis. On hand, midkine an important etiology of various diseases, especially those with inflammatory backgrounds. Furthermore, overexpressed most malignant tumors plays roles their invasive phenotypes as well resistance to chemotherapeutics. Therefore, itself expected be useful for treatment brain while inhibitors are promising tumors, multiple sclerosis, restenosis, renal hypertension osteoporosis. Blood levels also helpful disease markers, cancer markers. Linked Articles This article part themed section on Midkine. To view articles this visit http://dx.doi.org/10.1111/bph.2014.171.issue-4
