Detection of tumor-associated antigens in culture supernatants using autoantibodiesin sera from patients with bladder cancer

摘要: Secreted proteins play essential roles in the process of tumorigenesis, and analysis tumor- secreted has been suggested as a promising strategy for identifying cancer biomarkers. In this study, we performed proteomic to identify from bladder cell lines that are recognized by autoantibodies sera patients with cancer. addition, against identified were validated using dot-blot array normal controls. As results, detected twenty-five thir - ty-two immunoreactive spots high- low-grade cancer, re- spectively. validation revealed serum IgG levels anti-calreticulin matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP2) significantly higher pa- tients than controls (both P < 0.05). Furthermore, level anti-MMP2 autoantibody was compared (P On multivariate analysis, an in- dependent predictor cancer-specific survival ( Based on these findings, lev els MMP2 may be novel biomarker candidates its clinical outcome.
