摘要: The etiology and pathogenesis of tumors the central nervous system are still inadequately explained. This study analyses tumor suppressor gene— adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) in 28 patients with glioblastoma, most aggressive form glial tumors. APC protein has a structural role adherens junctions, but also plays signaling as negative regulator wnt pathway. Our interest gene stemmed principally from findings that wild-type is highly expressed system, upon finding it critically involved particular syndromes, among which brain play significant role. Glioblastoma samples were tested for instability by PCR/loss heterozygosity using RFLP method. Two polymorphic markers used: an Rsa I site exon 11, Msp 15. results our analysis both showed allelic loss 40% sample out 25 heterozygous (informativeness 89%). Another 20% demonstrated imbalance allele tissue. Altogether, there 15 (60%) demonstrating this gene. Despite increasing knowledge on glioma biology genetics, prognostic tools glioblastoma need improvement. genomic may contribute to better understanding genetic profile could be used marker disease evolution progression.
