摘要: The physiological and biomedical importance of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) has been fully recognized in the cardiovascular system as well rest body. In blood vessels, cystathionine γ-lyase (CSE) is a major H2S-producing enzyme expressed both smooth muscle endothelium periadventitial adipose tissues. Regulation H2S production from CSE controlled by complex integration transcriptional, posttranscriptional, posttranslational mechanisms vessels. cells, regulates cell apoptosis, phenotypic switch, relaxation contraction, calcification. endothelial controls proliferation, cellular senescence, oxidative stress, inflammation, etc. interacts with nitric oxide acts an endothelium-derived relaxing factor hyperpolarizing factor. generated tissues adipocyte-derived modulates vascular tone. Extensive evidence demonstrated beneficial roles CSE/H2S various vessel diseases, such hypertension, atherosclerosis, aortic aneurysm. important signaling merit further intensive extensive investigation. H2S-releasing agents activators will find their great applications prevention treatment vessel-related disorders.
