摘要: Activated stromal cells, e.g. inflammatory fibroblasts and vascular present in tumour microenvironments profoundly influence neoplastic development progression to the state. Macrophages are multifunctional immune cells that often constitute a major component of cell repertoire associated with premalignant malignant tissues. recruited from blood circulation by tumour-derived chemoattractants preferentially localize hypoxic regions. Depending on their activation status microenvironment, macrophages can impact either positive or negative mechanisms. Based upon this duality, macrophage balance theory was proposed emphasize complex relationships between tumourassociated cells. When appropriately activated, as during acute responses, manifest an M1 phenotype gain tumouricidal capacities; however, under adverse conditions within microenvironments, adopt M2 functionally contribute overall development.
