摘要: Search for loss of heterozygosity on chromosomes 1p, 9p, 10q, and 19q, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene amplification, p53 expression was performed in a series 131 low-grade gliomas. The profile molecular changes, clinical findings, histology were subsequently correlated with the course disease, mainly progression-free survival. When these parameters considered as candidate variables multivariate analysis, only chromosome 1p associated increased survival (hazard ratio, 0.521), indicating major favorable prognostic role this genetic alteration
