Great Island and Bauline: two new Kemerovo group orbiviruses from Ixodes uriae in eastern Canada.

摘要: Seven virus isolations from Ixodes Uriae collected during July 1971 a puffin ( Fratercula arctica ) colony on Great Island, Newfoundland, Canada were identified by complement-fixation tests as belonging to the Kemerovo-Tribec complex of Kemerovo serogroup orbiviruses. Neutralization indicated that 2 new members represented in 7 isolates. These agents are designated Island (prototype strain CanAr 41) and Bauline 14).
