摘要: OBJECTIVE The present study was designed to investigate whether the proliferation of normal synovial cells from patients with meniscus injury is stimulated by human T cell leukemia virus type I (HTLV-I) Tax protein. METHODS effect protein on evaluated using a 3H-thymidine incorporation assay. Production cytokines determined enzyme-linked immunosorbent Nuclear factor kappaB (NF-kappaB) DNA binding activity and transcription several NF-kappaB-mediated genes detected electrophoretic mobility shift assay reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS cells, as well their expression tumor necrosis alpha, granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, interleukin-6, significantly enhanced extracellular at concentrations 2.5 pM 25 nM. In contrast, bacterial extract did not change cytokine or these cells. Proliferation induced may be due activated protooncogenes that contain NF-kappaB regulatory sequences. CONCLUSION Our results suggest can regulate endogenous cellular in contribute hyperplasia.
