摘要: Lung cancer incidence is decreasing worldwide among men but rising women due to recent changes in smoking patterns both sexes. In Europe, the epidemic has evolved different rates and times, policy responses it, vary substantially between countries. Differences prevalence are much more evident European reflecting heterogeneity rates. Other factors rather than linked sex may increase women's susceptibility lung cancer, such as genetic predisposition, exposure hormones molecular features, all of them epidemiologic clinical characteristics women. However, biological bases sex-specific differences controversial need further evaluation.
