摘要: We used logistic regression to compare a set of habitat features inside known Scandinavian wolf Canis lupus territories with the same in areas outside territories, but still close enough be available for colonization. In addition, we analysed changes variables over time within territories. Wolf had lower densities roads, built-up and open land than there was no difference density wolves' main prey, elk Alces alces. The model classified 79% Scandinavia reindeer husbandry area as suitable habitat, that is probability occurrence >0.5. proportion territory decreased ‘borders’ changed time. Our reasonably high predictive power, correct classification 90% (18 20) observed study area. Polygons, randomly distributed were correctly not being occupied by wolves 85% cases (17 20). This allows more effective use resources to, example, prevent depredation on livestock dogs.
