摘要: Functionally graded materials (FGM) have recently been proposed for effective stress control in insulators. FGM are which one or several material properties vary continuously as a function of space. Their main advantage lies the absence discrete changes (as found layered composites) material. Layered insulator composites suffer from drawback charge accumulation at interface any two layers. Due to this, local field enhancement may occur leading their degradation and eventual breakdown. In this work, we fabricate dielectric specimens comparison. Bisphenol-A epoxy resin is used base alumina (AhO3, having average diameter 9 μm) filler. By changing volume fractions fillers, layers different permittivity manufactured. To obtain samples, layer deposited over another. A sample very low differences adjacent hot pressed approximately ‘graded’ specimens. Space measured by Pulsed Electro Acoustic — PEA method (TechImp, Italy). specimens, reduction accumulated space observed.
