摘要: The purpose of this paper is to explore the link between national language policy and practice in Irish-medium schools,which are known Irish Gaelic as Gaelscoileanna. provides an overview state's since 1922to promote by using schools primary vehicle for implementation. Based on a recent study, describes various changes Gaelscoileanna movement over time, including students' linguistic profile, pupil teacher ratio, available teaching aids textbooks Irish, teachers' belief regarding potential impact revival efforts.
