摘要: PURPOSE The target cells for radiation carcinogenesis are widely held to be stem or stem-like cells. Classically, considered those capable of renewing tissues while differentiated lose the potential replicate. More recently it has become apparent that greater developmental plasticity exists and can reprogrammed form induced pluripotent Modelling cancer-risk requires understanding characteristics, numbers responses radiation. Therefore progress in mechanisms radiation-induced is dependent on knowledge cell radiobiology. RESULTS In this context, European Community's network excellence low dose risk called, 'Low Dose Research towards Multidisciplinary Integration (DoReMi)' ( www.doremi-noe.net ) United Kingdom's Health Protection Agency organised a workshop Stem Cells DNA damage Oxfordshire 7/8 December 2011 address issues relating radiation, keeping with aim improving ionising health risk, panel experts radiobiology were invited workshop. This summary includes all presentations at accompanied by full reports several speakers.
