摘要: An immunomodulatory protein (IPAF) was purified and cloned from Anoectochilus formosanus, an Orchidaceae herbal plant in Asia. The major targeting immune cells of IPAF its modulating effects toward B lymphocytes were investigated. Rapid amplification cDNA ends (RACE) conducted to clone the gene, obtained sequence BLAST compared on NCBI database. MACS-purified mouse T stimulated with cell proliferation, activation, Igs production examined. comprised a 25 amino acids signal peptide 138 which homologous lectins plant. selectively induced proliferation splenic but not lymphocytes. IPAF-induced exhibited increased CD69 MHC class II expression, dose- time-dependent enhancement IgM production. These results suggested potential benefits strengthen humoral immunity.
