摘要: Abstract Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the results cytologic examination, cervicography, direct acetic acid test, and magnified test (speculoscopy) with histologic examination. Study design: a prospective, descriptive, analytic that included 1286 women in primary health facility who were screened by (speculoscopy). Histologic evidence obtained on all patients means cervical punch biopsies. biopsy specimens taken from aceto-white areas or suspicious cancer. In normal individuals, external os at 12 6 o'clock position, whichever most convenient. Positive cases treated colposcopy large loop excision transformation zone. Testing for human immunodeficiency virus infection not done. Results: Of screened, 1093 (85%) eligible analysis. mean age 38.6 years. Because women, sensitivities specificities could be calculated each screening method. sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive values examination 53%, 95%, 47%, respectively; cervicography 49%, 88%, 26%, 79%, 12%, speculoscopy 77%, 45%, 11%, respectively. 876 colposcopy, only 468 (56%) eventually returned colposcopy. Conclusion: Cytologic are suited developing countries because low sensitivity specificity other tests. Two more tests combined will increase but remains low. Screening methods remain an urgent problem. (Am J Obstet Gynecol 2003;188:395-400.)
