摘要: Different post-translational modifications of Ca channel β subunits have been identified. Recent studies characterized the palmitoylation β2a subunit, as well one effect this modification on function. The potential importance other properties is discussed. Other addressed role phosphorylation in regulation voltage-dependent channels. Phosphorylation by second messenger-activated protein kinases, unidentified may affect interactions between and aspects differential subunit isoforms events likely results diversely regulated channels with unique properties.
